I'm Jeremy Monk.

I build websites for small businesses around Rensselaer County, one at a time, and I'm the person who answers when you call.

Monk's my name, and monks were the people who spent their lives making pages by hand. It seemed like a fit.

I grew up in Troy and live in Berlin now. I've been building websites for ten years: an Amazon drop-shipping store, a computer-building site, a flag football league, and a lot in between.

I work with local businesses because you already have plenty on your plate. Learning to build a website yourself is a second full-time job, and paying someone else to do it can cost thousands. I'd rather build it for you at a price that makes sense for a small business.

Outside of work you'll find me at the gym or playing flag football. At home I spend my time with my two daughters and our three dogs.

How I work

Four things you can hold me to.

  1. One person, start to finish

    The person you talk to is the person who builds your site and the person who looks after it afterward.

  2. The price is fixed before I start

    You get it in writing. If something new comes up, you get a quote before I do it, never a surprise on the bill.

  3. You're never locked in

    I handle the domain so you don't have to, but you have full control of it. If you ever leave, the site and the domain go with you.

  4. Tested on a phone first

    Every page gets opened on a real phone, on a slow connection, before it goes live. That's where your customers are.

Close enough to drive over.

Most of my work is within about forty-five minutes of home. Somewhere else? Ask. If it makes sense to do it remotely, I will.
